Southern. Cross Petroleum . Company (Registered). THE undersigned, Henry Haase, JLj hereby makp application to register the " Southern Cross Petroleum Company, Registered,” under the provisions of “ The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “ The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts 1869 and 1870,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particcular, viz :— 1-—The name and style of the Company is “ The Southern Cross Petroleum Company Registered.” 2.—The place of operations is at Rotokautukti,. Waiapu, East Coast, North Island, Colony of New Zealand. 3- —I he nominal capital of the Company is Forty-eight thousand pounds, in Forty-eight thousand shares of one pound each. 4. The amount already paid- up in cash is Iwo hundred pounds sixteen shillings and eightpence, and six thousand pounds in partly paid up shares. 5. —The name of the manager is Henry Haase. 6-—The office of the Company is at Gisborne Poverty Bay, North Island, New Zealand. 7. —The names and several residences of the shareholders and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follow :—
