A Gazette recently published notifies that 3000 acres of land on the West Coast —west of the WaingongorO Biver, also certain blocks in the Kaupokonui and Ngaire Survey Districts—have been proclaimed as to be open for application on deferred payments, on 26th February, at the land offices at Hawera and Carlyle. The price of the land is £2 per acre. Certain Crown lands, amounting to 30,000 acres, situated in the Pahiatua Block, north of Masterton, and in the Kairanga and Fitzherbert Blocks, Manawatu District, are to be open for sale on the Bth and JOth February at Masterton. lhese lands we described in a recent article. Some 5000 acres in the Parihaka Block; 10,000 acres in the Waimate Plains, in sections from 15 to 320 acres each, at from, £1 10s. to £4 per acre; also, a number of town sections (f acres), and some suburban sections in the townships of Manaia and Opunake, will be open for sale on the 25th to 28th February at Hawera. These lands have all been opened up by roads, and are connected either with railways or main roads,
