A match was fired yesterday morning between the J Battery of Gisborne and the Artillery Volunteers of Napier, in whieh the latter gained a decided victory, scoring 469 to ur men’s 336. We, of course, do not know what sort of weather prevailed in Napier; but certainly in Gisborne it was altogether unfavorable to good shooting. However b-tter luck next time.
