Post Office, Gisborne. For Napier, Wellington and South, also the Australian Colonies via Melbourne, per Ringarooma, on Friday, Feb. 11th, at 3.30 p.m. For Auckland, per Rotomahana, on Saturday evening, at 7 o’clock. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, America and the West Indies, via San Francisco ; also the Sandwich Islands and Auckland, Saturday, February 26th, at 7 p.m. The next outgoing San Francisco mail will close at Gisborne, on Saturday, Feb. 26th. The next inward San Francisco mail is due at Gisborne,, on Friday, February 14th. For Tologa Bay every Tuesday, at 3 p.m. For Te Mawhai, Aku Aku, Tuparoa, and Awanui, every alternate Tuesday, at 3 p.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika & Ormond, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 2 p.m. *#* A Post Office Receiving Box for letters has been erected at Mr. East’s Upper Store, which will be cleared daily (except Sundays), at 1 p.m., and one hour before the time of closing seaborne mails at the Post Office.
