CORRESPONDENCE.
Our columns are open for free discussion ; but we do not hold ourselves responsiblef or the opinions of our Correspondents. :o: LETTEUS TO THE BDITOB.
Sib, —Your contemporary this morning contains a letter signed “ Ormond Observer” complaining of the action of the Ormond members of the Road Board, also feebly accusing them of having served their own interests and neglected the interests of the Ormond community. I need scarcely say sir, that the whole of “ Ormond Observer’s” letter is an interested falsehood, and said letter would be beneath notice if the writer had but put his real name to it, but as “ Ormond Observer’s” letter might mislead some, and might cause a wrong impression to be formed of those gentlemen, who have hitherto served Ormond so faithfully, I take this opportunity to assure you and them that “ Ormond Observer’s ’ sentiments are shared in by few if any Ratepayers of Ormond. —I am, &c., Ratepayer.
