Entrance 15 shillings. 2. PONY RACE, of sovs., for Ponies of fourteen hands and under. Open to all ponies that have been for three months the bona fide property of persons residing between Whangara and Waiapu, weight for inches, top weight lOst. Entrance 10 shillings, distance 1 mile. 3. FLYING STAKES, of sovs., open to all horses that have been for three months the bona fide property of persons residing between Whangara and Waiapu, weight for age, top weight lOst, the winner of any race exceeding £5 in value, to carry a 101 b penalty, J mile heats. Entrance 10 shillings. 4. UAW A STAKES, of sovs., open to all comers, distance 1} miles, welter weight for age, the winner of any race exceeding £5 in value, to carry a 71b peualty. Entrance 15 shillings. 5. MAIDEN PLATE of sovs., open to all horses that have been for three months the bona fide property of persons residing between Whangara and Waiapu, weight for age, top weight lOst, distance 1 mile. Entrance 10 shillings. 6. CONSOLATION STAKES, of sovs., a handicap for all horses that have been beaten during the meeting, distance f mile. Entrance lOshillings. 7. FORCED HANDICAP, of soys., for all winners, distance -j mile. Entrance 10 shillings. CONDITIONS. Post Entries. Three fourths of the Entrance money will be added to the stakes in each race. No winner of money subscribed by the public, will be cansidered a “ Maiden." No one will be allowed to enter a horse who has not subscribed at least one pound to the race fund. No protest will be entertained without a deposit of ten shillings, which deposit will be forfeited if the protest be not sustained. The decision of the Stewards will be final in all cases of dispute.
