HACK HURDLE RACE, of £8; second horse to receive £2 out of the stakes; post entries, lOst up, once . bound the course. 3. TRIAL STAKES, of £8; second horse to. receive £2 out of the stakes ; all horses not over! three years old that have never started for an advertised race ; colts, Bst 101 b. fillies and geldings Bst 51b; distance 1 mile. - - : 4. LADLES’ PURSE, of £l5 ; second horse to receive £2 10s put of the stakes; miles, welter weight for age ; gentlemen riders, professional riders to carry 71bs. extra. 7. CONSOLATION HANDICAP of £7 10s; for all beaten horses during the meeting.. Distance once round the course. Handicap to be adjusted by the stewards or whom they may appoint. 8. HACK FLAT RACE, of £5 ; once round the course, post entries. CONDITIONS. No person will be allowed to enter a horse in any other but the Hack Races, unless the owner of the horse is a subscriber to the Club of at least 1 sov. Sealed entries must be addressed to the Secretary, and sent in under cover to the Waerenga-a-hika Hotel not later than 7 p.m. ai‘ WEDNESDAY, the 20tb December, 1876, with name, age, and description of the horse, and the colors of the rider, together with qualification fee, and 10 per cent on the value of the stakes. Any horse foaled during the foaling season of 1873 shall be deemed a three* ye-ar old ; if the time of foaling of any horse is not known to be judged by the mouth. All disputes shall be settled by the Stewards of the' Club, and their decision must in all cases be accepted as final. In case of any match being run on the course on the day of meeting, the owners of the horses shall pay 10s to the Secretary and Treasurer of the Club in advance. In all other matter the Auckland Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. Entrance fees to course: Foot passengers, Is ; horsemen, 2s ; vehicles, including driver, 2s 6d, passengers, Is each.
