LICENSING COURT.
Present—W. K. Nesbitt, Esq., R.M., Chairman, Chas Westrup, Esq., J.P., andJ.»B. Poynter, Esq., J.P., Commissioners. An application was made for a licence to be granted for the Murewai Hotel, to George Goldsmith. Mr Rogan supported the application, and urged that the Commissioners should recommend a reduction in the license fee, which, recommendation, after some discussion the Bench decided to make.
