The Jane Douglas took her departure for Napier at noon yesterday, with 40,000 feet of timber frotn King’s mill. The Rangatira left Napier at 2,30 yesterday, for Poverty Bay. The Pretty Jane was not telegraphed as arrived in Auckland, up to five o’clock last evening. We learn that the total loss of the cargo by the Acadia is about £4O; the remainder of the timber, some 32,000 feet, has been purchased by Mr J. R, Morgan. The City of Auckland was expected to sail again for Auckland about the end of July. Her saloon was all engaged when thie mail left. ' The ship Abernate was to sail from London for Auckland on the 30th June. The ship Waimea sailed for Auckland from London, on the 29th June. Captain Ashby retired from the post of Superintendent of the New Zealand Shipping Company, at the end of June last, up to which time the Company since its formation, had dispatched 155 ships to . this colony, carrying 28,670 souls. The ship Orari, the first of the five ships .recently m course of construction at Jarrow-on-Tyue for the New Zealand Shipping Company, was to leave London for Auckland about the 14th July, with immigrants.
