The writs are to be returned to Wellington by the 2nd February. (from our own correspondent.) TAURANGA. Friday, 17th December. Capt. Morris has just returned from Opotiki and the coast, where he has been 'well received. He is very strong here. He addresses the electors here to-morrow night, and will leave for Gisborne almost immediately afterwards.
