BUSINESS NOTICES.
AS the proprietor of this journal it effecting alteration! with a view to the future carrying on of the business, he particularly requests the favor of an early settlement of outstanding accounts —especially the long-dated ones. Letters, and other communications (except advertisements) intended for insertion in the Standard must be addressed to the Editor ; and, as a rule, forwarded not later than 10 o'clock on the morning preceding publication. Remittances, Orders, and Advertisement* should be sent to the ManagerAdvertisements (save under exceptional circumstances) cannot be guaranteed insertion unless to hand by 5 o’clock in the evening next before issue; the number of insertions should be distinctly stated thereon or they trill be continued until countermanded and charged for accordingly.
