The grounds have been tastefully laid out, and are now under extensive alterations and improvements; while they form a picturesquely retired spot for PICNIC & EXCURSION PARTIES in quest of change from the dust and heat of the town, from which they can be reached either by road or river. Amongst other attractions provision is being made for CROQUET, SWINGS, SHOWER AND PLUNGE BATHS; While FRUIT of all kinds in season, STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM, and HONEY fresh from tho hive, will be provided at reasonable charges.
