FIIHIS IS TO NOTIFY That on the sixteenth day of Sept-ember 1875 1 the undersigned Francis Goold of Gisborne Poverty Bay in the province of Auckland in the colony of New Zealand Surgeon duly made application to Joseph Moliere Tabatenu of Napier in the Province of Hawke’s Bay Registrar under the abovemeutioned Act to have my name placed on (he list of Medical Practitioners practising in New Zealand. THIS W TO* CERTIFY That Francis Goold has been registered by the Medica l Board of Victoria as a legally qualified Medical Practitioner in accordance with the provisions of the Act of the Parliament of Victoria No. 262 and t hat the following is a t rue copy of the Record thereof in the Medical Register : — “ April 27th, 1871-—Francis Goold, Residence— Melbourne, Qualification —Mem. We, the undersigned, the President and Members of the New South Wales Medical Board appointed under the Act 2nd Vic. Cap. 22, entituled “ An Act to define the qualifications of Medical witnesses at Coroners’ Inquests and Inquiries held before Justices of the Peace in the colony of New South Wales , do hereby certify that we have examined the Testimonials of Qualifications of Goold, Francis and do hereby declare the said Goold, Francis entitled to be considered a Legally Qualified Medical Practitioner under the provisions of the abovenamed Act. [copy of telegram.] Auckland, September 20, 1875. J Dr. F. Goold, Gisborne. I certify that Dr. F. Goold was Surgeon Superintendent .ehip “ Woodlark” arrived here in May 1873. H. ELLIS, I in migration Officer. The original documents are at the Registrar’s office, Napier, also Parliamentary Reports regarding the Scandinavians in 1871, brought out by him in the Celano, and the report of the ship Westminister in 1850, whereon he was Government Surgeon. I, Francis Goold, M.R.C.S. Ac., now appearing before the Resident Magistrate in opeu Court held in Gisborne, P.B. this twentyfourth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five do solemnly and sincerely swear that I have forwarded to J. M. Tabuteau Esq., of Napier, Registrar, under the N. Z. Medical Act; the undermentioned original documents, proving my qualifications as medical practitioner. First: Notification of my being placed on the list of Medical Practitioners, from F. Hawkins Esq., Medical Registrar General of the United Kingdom under the Imperial Act entituled The Medical Registration Act 1858.” Secondly : Certificate No. 676 under 14 The Medical Practitioners* Statute, 28 Vic. No. 262. Thirdly : Certificate No. 705 New South Wales Medical Board Act, 2nd Vic. Cap 22 entitled “ An Act to define the Qualifications of Medical Practitioners &c,” and that 1 Lave duly advertised the same in the local newspapers. FRANCIS GOOLD.
