Mr. Kelly gave notice of motion of amendment to create a new electoral district, to be called the Southern East Coast, including Hawke’s Bay up to the town of Napier. Mr. Bryce is going to move for second member for Wanganui. Mr. Pyke for fourth one for Dunedin. Sir George Grey moved that the Land Purchase Agents of the colony should not be allowed to purchase lands for private persons or for themselves; that all lands so purchased by those officers should be deemed part of the Colonial estate; and that the present owners be refunded the cost, , i
