COMMERCIAL.
A vert fair number of bidders attended Mr Hall’s sale of stock at Makaraka on Wednesday last. The following prices were realised : —Medium mares £6 to £7; yearling fillies, for light draught, £7 to £9; medium hacks, £5 to £7. Inferior cows, with calves at foot, £5 to £7; store cattle, comprising young steen and heifers, from £3 to £5; about 20 head were knocked down.
