Kaiteratahi Road. — Great complaints are being made by country settlers at the obstruction caused by the fence recently erected by Mr. Hamou at Kaiteratahi. Mr. Hamon, of course, is perfectly justified in fencing in his own ground, but, considering that it shuts off all vehicle communication between Ormond and the up country, it is time the Government took some steps in the matter. Telegraphic representations were made yesterday to Mr. Bold, but nothing that we have heard has resulted therefrom.
