Mb. Hall’s auction sale was well attended on Saturday last. Horses realised from £6 10s to £l2 ; a set of chairs and couch, £l3 ; side saddles, from £2 15s to £3 10s; apples in case, 4fJ per lb ; quicks, 15s per 1000. An assorted lot of jewellery fetched satisfactory prices. The following is the amount of Revenue collected at the Custom House, Poverty Bay, for the month of August last: — Customs duties £614 6 1 Arms fees 12 14 0 Fees under Merchant Shipping ' Act 0 2 9 Total ... „. £627 210
