METEOROLOGICAL.
The correctness of the telegrams received during the last day or two by Captain Chrisp, announcing the approach of bad weather, have been verified. On Thursday the northerly weather broke, with light wind from S.W., with heavy banking clouds, lowering temperature and showers. About midnight the wind and rain increased and continued throughout yesterday ; the rivers are very high.
