Johnson and family, Archdeacon Williams, Master Parker, M ss; s Margoliou’h, Mears (2), Buest, Whitrheatl, Pollen, Grant, Hamlin. M‘Donald, W ilsun, Nasmith, Noble, Hawes, Harvey; 15 natives and 5 others in the steerage. Messrs. Graham and Co. obligingly placed a telegram at our disposal received *»y them from Wellington last evening, notifying that as the Kaugutira is to have an overhaul she will not leave again for Poverty Bay until about the 2nd or 3id of AugUsL "•'ll© Pretty Jane will leave for Auckland this evening. Her Majesty’s ship Dido, which left Auckland for Wellington via Tauranga on the 3rd inst ~ has not since been heard of. She did not call at Tauranga. Mr. Billing has been fined £5O per day for twelve dajsfur allowing the wreck of the Paterson to remain in the Waitara. The defendant gave not ice that he should appeal to tue Supreme Court.
