The local agent knew nothing of this, and a special inquiry of our own yesterday remained unanswered, until a late hour in the, evening when we received the following:—“ We deeply regret your anxiety. Owing to Government delays in swinging compasses and other redtapeiun we cannot possibly leave until Thursday.—W-. Loddiu.”
