PORT OF POVERTY BAY ARRIVALS. JUNE. 23—Go-a-head, s.s., Captain M'Gillivray, from Auckland, with full general cargo and the following passengers : —Mr.aud Mrs. Seaton and child, Mr. and Mrs. Trueman and child, Messrs. Rogan, Poynter, Wallace, Carson, Boylan, and Mr. and Mrs. Adair and four children.

The Go-a-head has been detained at the wharf on account of the S E. gale which has been blowing since her arrival. She will put to sea this morning, if the weather should moderate, bound for Wanganui, via Napier and Wellington, to take up her old running between the former port and Manakau. Th? Pretty Jane will not leave Auckland until next week. Mail communication with that port wiH, therefore, be best secured by the Go-n-head whi< h, if she gets away to-day, may be in time for fhe Phoebe leaving Wellington un Tuesday next for the Manakau. The Southern Cross left Napier for Auckland on Thursday last. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received telegraph advices that the following ships have sailed from London :—Teesdale, for Wellington ; Knight of Snowdon and British Empire, for Dunedin ; Lecture, far Lyttelton; Aluoibagh, for Auckland, with immigrants ; and Carisbrouk Castle, for Auckland, with special immigrants from Belfast. Also the following ships loading Columbus and White Eagle, for Auckland ; Border Chirf. and Howrah, for Wellington ; Waikato for Lyttelton; and the Waimea for Dunedin. The Waikato, Waimea, and Howrah will all carry immigrants. The Evening Star’s London correspondent thus writes:—Your last Auckland ship, the Flcchero, sailed with cargo only on the 7th of April. .
