The following late telegram from Messrs. Helmuth, Sehwartze and Co., Lohdon, has been received by the Australian Mortgage and Finance Company :—“ Wool sales very brisk ; bulk |<l to Id higher than opening.” Makaraka, June 18. Mr. Hall reports : Cows from £3 10s to £5 ; yearling steer and heifer, £1 10s to £1 17s ; working bullocks, £25 per pair; horses, from £1 10sto£13 15s. Auckland. Mr. Buckland reports :—Fat cattle, 36s to 37s 6d per 1001 bs ; medium, 30s ; store lambs, 7s to 10s 6d ; fat sheep, 4d to 4|d. CHRISTCHURCH. Quotations, f^>.b.: Lyttelton wheat, 4s; oats, 3s; barley 5s 6d ; flour, £lO to £ll ; bran, 5s lid; sharps, 6s ; potatoes, £4 to £4 Ils ; cheese and butter scarce.
