Beyer,Dojlc, Mills, Beaver, Samuels, Mr. and Mrs. Beda, and the Duvalli Company. DEPARTURES. JUNK. 6— Go-a-head, Capt. Carey, with through pasaengcm. and cargo for Napier. 6 —Rangatira, ss , for Napier. Passengers : Rev. E. Williams, Messrs. Shirley, Kelly, Gill, Bird, and Hill.

The Go-a-head sighted the Southern Cross Auckland bound, off the East Cape on Friday afternoon last. The Go-a-head ha I not arrived at Napier at 5 o’clock last night. We learn that fhe present will be the last trip of the Go-uh.-aJ. the Pretty Jane being on the berth for Gisborne, and may be expected in the course of next week All the Victorian mails via San Francisco on board the lost steamer Schiller were saved from ihe wreck. They wet* got out first. Only a small portion of the New Zealand mail was secured and that in a very dilapitated condition. It is now placei almost beyond a doubt that the passenger list did not include any of the Mikado's passengers. The Opotiki had not left Napier last night. It is uncertain whether any steamer will visit us from (he Southward this week, on account of the drUntiou of fhe Rangatira. We would suggest as much punctuality as is convenient, and compatible with other public duties of customs' officials in telegraphing the arrival and departure of steamers. 1 he last arrival of the Go-a-head in Auckland was not announced here until the following day. although she arrived at 7 o’clock in the moruiug, and on Monday the arrival of the Rangatira at Napier at 1 p.m. was not notified at Gisb< me until 5 o’clock the same evening.
