Napier, May 31. At Mr. Miller’s cattle sale on Saturday 120 head were sold at the following rates : —Store cows with calves, £7 and upwards ; heifers, 18 months to 30 months, £4 2s 6d; steers, like ages, £4 to £7 15s ; fat cows, medium class, £7 10s to £8 15s ; prices are likely to rule higher.

At Mr. McLean’s horse sale on Saturday, the animals offered were few in number and inferior in quality. Hacks realised from £7 10s to £lO.
