The Go-a-head is expected from Napier about 10 o'clock to morrow night, and will wait to pick up mails and passengers for Auckland. The s.s. Go-a-head left Auckland at 5 p m. on Saturday, had light Weally winds and smooth sea. rounded East Ca|>e at 11.30 p.m. ou Sunday night, and arrived at 9.45 a.m. on Monday morning. The Go-a-head brought a full general cargo and passengers. Captain Carey late of the Pretty Jane is in charge of the Go-a-head, and Captain McGillivray takes charge of the Southern Cross owing to Captain Holmes being on sick leave.
