MAY. 7 —Rangatira, t.s., Captain Griffiths, for Napier and Willington with miscellaneous cargo, and the following passengers : —Miss Messrs Cross. R. ber s.Donnnghue, Nasmith, Chatfield. Wallace, Bold, Hume, McKenzie Brown, Hopkins, Eagen, Wilkinson, Parker and son, Father Reignivr, and three natives. The Go-a-head left Auckland on Thursday at 4 p.m. for this port ; ►he should put in an appearance about noon. The Southern Cross is announced to leave Napier for Auckland on Monday next. The English Mail did not come by the Rangatira yesterday, as was supposed it might have been forwarded by the Cross to Napier ; it will, possibly, arrive by the Go-a-head today. The Advance, ketch, is waiting a favorable breeze to proceed to Auckland via the coast. The Laetitia, schooner, will put to sea on Monday. Wesegretto learn that Captain Lloyd, of the B.s. Taranaki, is suffering from an attack of low fever, Auckland. Arrived—HM. Rosario, homeward bound. When about sixty miles south-east of the Three Kings, she was struck by a tremendous squall from north-east. The ship righted, with top and jib flying jibboon, fore, main, and mizen top-gallant masts, main yard and spanker, guff top-gallant sailsand mizen topanils, blown clean away. At daylight the ship Lacked a perfect wreck —canvas hanging in sb re Is, ma-ts and rigging strewed all over the ship. She then shaped her course for Auckland to refit. Arrived—Fern Glen, ship, 116 days from London, with 154 statute adults ; all well. The voyage was uneventful; the jibboom was lost in a gale. Six infants died on the voyage.
