PARIS FASHIONS.

Fashions are becoming more and more individual. The general outline of the figure is the only thing in which one r< sembles anofher, especially when we compare ball-dresses. A bodice with long basques, fitting very close and very little trimmed ; skirt as closefitting and crease less in front and upon the sides, with a long, narrow train, and no puff at all; this is the actual fashion. But then the dress can be made of any material you like, and trimmed exactly as you may fancy, with whatever you choose to use as a trimming, and you will be in fashion, provided the creation be tasteful and becoming. Alas! for our winter bonnets. It seems ns if they were, one and all of them, especially made to cover as little of the head as possible. One could almost think that modistes have all been bribed by dentists. What is the use ©f the bonnet being made of velvet or felt, or any other thick material, if it is perched upon the top of the chignon, and is not of the least protection to any other part of the head ? The shape most in vogue has an upturned border, extremely high on the top of the head. It is generally lined with black velvet, and raised above a large diadem bow, with sometimes a rose on the left side. Bands of curled feathers are much used for the trimming of velvet or felt hats and bonnets,
