Pimia said that she was willing that the piece marked as shown by the line running on the maps from Rereapoia to the Papa should be taken out as it belonged to Panapa’s people and the survey of which was included in the larger block by a mistake. Pera" Tutoko an old man cautioned to speak the truth, said Muriawa and Pukemako belong to me. My claim to this piece is by right of conquest. Paiko fought with NgateKahunguna. Paiko is an ancestor of Te tanga Mahaki. I have been on the laud killing birds for food. Hine Whaka maua is in charge of this portion, (she is admitted by Pimia). The piece I claim for Hikarongo is a very small piece. Pakau an ancestor of mine lived on it. He is a branch of Hikarongo. Pukemako is the name of the place where I killed birds. Hine Whaka maua fathers have been in continuous occupation. My name is in as a descendant of Haaki. Taupara’s lands come to me. (Pimia here said that Taupara was her ancestor). My claim is an ancestral one, our occupation has been by killing birds My name is in the lease and I have received a portion of the rents. I have three different ancestors to give me a right to Okahuatiu. My occupation and my ancestors’ has been by killing birds. Paora Paran sworn : I wish my name added, together with those put iu by me. My claim is at the Kowhai. It belongs to my elder brother. Onr claim is an ancestral one. I know the boundaries of this piece. It commences near the Kowhai and goes down to the water. By Pimia : My right is from ancestral occupation. Judge Rogan : You have admitted his right and cannot now question it. This closed the case for the objectors. Wi Fere put in list of names (his own included) as trustees under the Natives Real Estates Act for infant owners in the above block. Received.
