We are indebted to Captain McGillivray for late Auckland files on the last trips North and South of the Go-a-head. The Luna may be looked for in a few days. The Southern Cross should arrive from Auckland on Friday next, and will steam hence to Napier, shortly after arrival. We learn that the Rangatira beat the -Southern Cross by an hour and a half on their last trip to Napier. The Go-a-head will steam for Auckland to-morrow afternoon, with •a cargo of sheep and horses. "Captain Bolger, Harbour-master at Port Russell for twenty years, is dead. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received the following advices from London by telegram dated to the 16th of February, namely V.’ennington, for Dunedin ; Cicero, for Canterbury, and Caller Ou, for Auckland, had sailed in company, and the following ships were on the berth : —Robina, Dunlop, Hannibal, Oriana, Woodlark. Countess of Kintore, Star of China, Border Chief, and Knight of Snow. The first of the Harbour Company’s new steamers, the Hawera, launched at Dumbarton on the 17th of February, is expected to arrive in Dunedin under command of Captain Wheeler, in June.
