The Advance was to leave Auckland last Tuesday for this port. The steamer seen to pass the Bay on Thursday last, proves to be the Star of the South boui d to Napier from Auckland. The Queen Bee sailed from Napier on Sunday last for London. A report is current that the steamer Goehead is to be placed on the East Coast in the room of the Pretty Jane. Dunedin, February 15. The ship Garelock has brought out 305 immigrants. The first case of fever occurred on Decern! er 6, which terminated fatally on January 1 ;tlie last cases were on February 3. The palients are still suffering. There were five rtea h' from scarlet fever, two from dropsy, which va* confined to children. The passengers an- qua antined, und the ship ordered to be fumigated.
