PORT OF POVERTY BAY. ARRIVALS. JANUARY. 15 —Pret‘y Jane, s.s., Capt. Fernandez, from Auckland. DEPA RICHES. JANUARY. Nil. The Pretty Jane arrived at this port late last evening from Auckland. New Steamer for New Zealand. —A corespondent of the Clago Times, says: —A •teamer which is likely to be sent out to New Z aland, and which was built at South Shields and engined at Kirrk&ldy, ma le her trial trip on the 3rd instant in the birth of Forth. Her name is rhe Black Watch, and her net tonnage is 138. Though it was blowing a ’ terrific gale at the time of her trip, vessels of all sizes running for the nearest shelter, she sieaniet at ;he rate of seven and a half knots, and proved herself a staunch and dry seaboat.
