METEOROLOGICAL.
The fine weather of the past few weeks, ended in an interruption of i he arrangements for holiday making on New Year's Day. A black N.E. gale brought up a copious supply of showers which, however, were acceptable to the country. Fine days, with hot Nor’ Westers have succeeded until yesterday, when relief came in the shape of a cool breeze from the sea.
