POET OF POVERTY BAY. ARRIVALS. DECEMBER. 17— -Pretty Jane, t. 8.5., Caph. Fernandez, from Auckland, with miscellaneous cargo, and the following passengers :—Mr. and Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Williams and infant, Miss Hair, Messrs. Harris, Beaver, Broachan, Turner, Crapp, Chambers, and 13| statute adult immigrants. DEPARTURES. DECEMBER. 18— Pretty Jane, t.s.s., Capt., Fernandez, for Napier, passengers — Mrs. Williams and infant, Messrs. Hamer, Beaver, and Allen. The Pretty Jane made a capital run to and from Auckland on her last voyage. She left Gisborne on Friday night the 11th December at 8 o’clock, arriving at Auckland on Sunday at mid-day. She steamed again from that port on Tuesday evening arriving at the wharf soon after 12 o’clock on Thursday making the run in about 40 hours. The Pretty Jane will return from Napier to morrow ; she will not enter the river, but will steam for Auckland shortly after arrival.
