Ail Fees to be paid and mares removed after notice being given of their stinting. 2s fid each mure per week will be charged if not then removed. He won the first, prize in 1869 as a yearling, beating two-year-old horses. In 1871, as a three-year-old, he also carried first prize, against aged horses. In 1872 he carried second prize, being beaten only by “ President,” one of three newly-imported horses. Terms £3 3s each mare. For two or more mares, the property of the same owner, as per agreement. For many years past he has been well-known as one of the most successful horses on the turf, in the Auckland province, in anv race where speed and bottom were called into play.
