30th September to 6th October. The weather along the coast has been variable during the past week, alternating, suddenly, from cold to heat and the reverse. The dust caused by continued Nor’-westers was temporarily layed yesterday morning by a welcome shower, but for a short time only. The roads are much improved by the succession of dry winds blowing during the past fortnight. Yesterday was exceedingly cold for the time of year.
