The Hawke's Bay Tinies says:—A slight but unmistakable earthquake shock was felt in Napier at 5.25 p.m. ou Friday the 25th September. The Wellington correspondent of the Hawlce’s Bay Times says : —The Premier, previous to his departure for Auckland, received a senii-offieial notice from Dr. Featherston that, her Majesty was willing to confer upon him the honor of knighthood.
