He won the first prize in 1869 as a j carling, beating two-year-old horses. In 187.1, as a three-year-old, he also carried first prize, against aged horses. In 1872 he carried second prize, being beaten only by “ President,” one of three newly-imported horses. Terms £3 3s each mare. For two or more mares, the property of the same owner, as per agreement.
