METEOROLOGICAL.

26th August to Ist September. Since our last note, fine, mild, weather has continued. Very little change has been experienced during the week, light breezes holding to the north, with a smooth sea in the Bay. Rain fell for two or three hours on Sunday night which reduced the roads once more to the consistency of batter. The sky wore a threatening aspect again last night, after a heavy shower in the afternoon.
