FAREWELL.
Fondest, dearest, fare thee well, This heart feels more than tongue can tell; The glistening tear drops in mine eye, Must say what hallowed hearts deny. Affection fond, and love most true, Must hallow this our last adieu ; Oh, none but those who love can tell How sad it is to say “ Farewell !”
