Off the Heads—Ships Carthburn, from Glasgow, with immigrants ; Hindustan, from London, with immigrants ; and the Davenagh, from London. Bluff, July 13. The ship Carrick Castle is now coming into harbor. She has been 77 dayspn the passage (from Liverpool ?), and brings 220 immigrants. Three deaths occurred on the voyage —all of children. New Plymouth, July 16. The p.s. Paterson is now h ing across the charnel of the Waitara river, with the water WH-hing over her decks. A great deal of water was taken out of her before she drifted into the stream. Th* brigantine Eliza Mary is now a wreck, arid will be sold by Auction to-morrow. A thunderstorm’ passed over the town last night. Lyttelton, July 15. Arrived—The ship Hereford, 75 days from London. She brings 491 souls. - During th«* voyage there were five births and five deaths.
