METEOROLOGICAL.
Our records for the past week shew an extremely variable temperature, and atmospheric phenomena. Thus, Wednesday last was calm with a warm rain. On Thursday the sky cleared, but only to make way for a southerly gale with heavy rain on the following Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the wind dropped and the day cleared. Monday was a sullen, cloudy day with every appearance oPrain, and very eold ; while yesterday the thermometer stood at 70 ° degrees in the shade nt 9 o’clock in the morning, and at 94 9 in the sun at 12 o’clock noon. The weather looked threatening towards night. :
