The Napier papers report that at a public meeting held lately in Napier, a resolution affirming the question of forming that town into a Borough was carried almost unanimously. The Hon. the Native and Defence Minister, Mr. arrived at Hokitika, from Melbourne on the Ist July en route for Wellington.
