The I indine, ship, 81 days from London, has arrived at Port Chalmers without passengers. The Luna has gone South with railway phml. The Mana wet u will fake the place of the Rangatira next tri]>. '1 he latter vessel is to remain in Wellington for a week, to undergo u complete overhaul. The Pretty Jane is expected to arrive from Auckland to-morrow. Her departure South will depend upon her coming into the river or not, if she dobs it is possible she will not leave until Saturday. Tue Opoliki was to leave Napier for this port on Monday last. There is every probability that this favorite vessel will be her!lied for Auckland, as the trade between that port and Gisborne seems to be getting ahead of the present carrying capacity. The Hawke's Bay Herald reports the schooner Pacific, under command of Captain Chrisp, formerly of the Comernng, as having arrived in port from Mercury Bay. r l he Pacific is a new schooner, this being only her second tri]). Captain Chrisp reports a schooner lying nt anchor at Kawakawa, supposed to be the Lmtitia, bound for Auckland. The Auckland Weekly News says: —Tho A.S.P. Company has purchased anew steamer from home. She is to be placed on the Napier and New Caledonia trade for cat tle, &c. The Hawke's Bay Herald says:—The last advices in regard to Mr. Vautier’s brig Maggie were that she was 58 days out from Saigon. She is thus now considerably overdue in Melbourne.
