FRITZ AND HIS BABY.
So help me gracious efery day I laugh me vid to saw der ray My shmall young baby drie to play— Dat funny leetle baby. Vhen I look on deni leetle toes, And saw that funny leetle nose, And heard der vay dat rooster crows, I smiles like I vas crazy. And vhen I heard the real nice vay, Vhen beoples to my vife dhey say “ Mere like his fader efery day.” I was so broud as blazes. Sometimes der comes a little schquall. Dat's ven der vindy vind vill crawl Right in his little stomach shmall, Dat’s too bad for der baby. Dat makes him sing all night so schwcet And gorry barry he must end And I must chump sbry on my veet, To help dat leetle baby. He bull my nose and kiks my hair, And grawls me ofer eferywhere, And schlobbers me, vat do I care, Dat vas my shmall young baby. Around tny head dat leetle arm Vas schquarm me so nice and vharm, Oh ! may dhere never coom some harm To dat shmall leetle baby. WOSIEG.
