Important to Shooting Men.—Trooper T. Morgan of the Alexandra troop showed on parade" on Saturday, some Sniderammunition which he had made by using the empty cartridge cases, and which may be done by all our crack shots, who will thus make a great saving in the purchase of this very expensive ammunition. Mr. Morgan fills the cases with the proper weight of powder, accurately weighed, and puts a moulded bullet on the top, afterwards dipping the top and rim in a composition of beeswax, he then by some means, draws the exploded cap, and fits a common revolver percussion cap. If the proper compressed bullet could be got the ammunition would be quite as good and effective as the imported article. We under T seand Major Noake intends bringing it before the notice of the Volunteers. Mr. Morgan deserves credit for his discoverr.— Weekly Chronicle.
