POVERTY BAY PETROLEUM COMPANY.

At a meeting of the Directors, held yesterday, the following business was transacted : — Mr. J. H. Stubbs was appointed as Acting Manager, in addition to the office which he now holds as Secretary to the Company. It was resolved that the shares held by defaulting shareholders shall be absolutely forfeited, unless the accrued calls are paid by the 31st inst. It was also resolved that on boring being commenced at the Oil Springs, provisions shall be supplied by the Company to the workmen engaged.
