Auckland, March 14. Mr. Buckland reports: Fat calves scarce at extreme prices ; fat cattle plentiful. 200 head were sold at the sales yesterday ; fat sheep short of requirements ; fat cattle, 25s to 30s per lOOlbs ; fat sheep, 5d per lb. Christchurch, March 14. Royse, Stead and Co. report wheat steady at 4s 9d ; oats are not offering; barley, 4s 6d to 4s 9d ; butter, fresh, Is per lb ; hams and bacon, 9|d. Wellington, March 14. Oats hardened during the week, owing to non-arrivals from Lyttelton. Stocks light, now selling from 4s 6d to 4s 9d ; old at n ss ; flour, best brands, £l3 to £l4 ; wheat, none offering ; bran, Is to Is Id per bushel; sharps, full stock, 6s to6s lOd ; bacon, scarce at lOd ; hams, from ll|d to Is ; cheese, sld to 6d; butter, scarce, 9d to lOd for fresh.
