Doctor Hector was a passenger to Gisborne by the Taranaki yesterday and pioceeded at once to the Oil Springs. Music Hall.—We are reluctantly compelled to shut out our notice of Mr. Gourlay's performances on Monday night last, until Saturday’s issue. On Monday last 3,000 sheep arrived overland from Napier, for Messrs. Johnson and Westrup, in excellent condiiion, after a capital journey of about three weeks. Public Meeting.—J. W. Johnson, Esq., M.P.C., wishes to meet the settlers at the Court House on Saturday, the 29th M.-avh. (Vide advertisement.) Firing Practice. — The firing of the P.B.M.R. Volunteers is to take place on Saturday next at Ormond, instead of Gisborne, as previously announced.
