Rover, schooner, McCabe master, from Auckland, via the coast with small miscellan<*ous cargo and 10 European passengers. DEPARTURES. JANUARY.
13—Rangatira, s.s., Lloyd, for Napier and Wellington, with 39 bags grass seed, and 10G boxes apples. Passengers —Airs. Best, Mrs. Robb and girl, Airs. Shirley, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Langford and 2 children Messrs. Davie, Power, Jacobs, Goldsmid, Parker, Hooper, Matheson, 1 Constable and prisoner.
Th it Eiffe Meikle cleared for Auckland on Wednesday with 110 bales wool, and 93 bags grass seed. The cutter Start cleared at the Custom House on Tuesday for Auckland direct with 300 bags grass seed, and 50 sheep skins. The Rangatira, Captain Lloyd, left Wellington at 6.45 p.na. on the 10th, arrived at Castle Point at 7 a.m. on the 11th, left again at 8 a.m., arrived at Napier 6.45 p.m. same day, left Napierat 1.30 p.m. on the 12th, and arrived in the roadstead early on Tuesday morning. Experienced fine weather from Wellington to Napier, from thence strong head winds with heavy beam sea.
