Presbyterian Church, POVERTY BAY. A BAZAAR JN aid of the Church Building Fund will be held (D.V.) Tuesday and Wednesday, December 30th and 31st, in the Music Hall, Gisborne. The Bazaar Committee have much pleasure in announcing that they will have nearly 1,000 articles to offer for sale, amongst which are Ladies Dresses and Underclothing, Children’s Clothes, a vast number of Toys, and a variety of Fancy Articles too numerous to mention. In addition to the Bazaar there will be an ART UNION, for the sale of some good Pictures, and a CHRISTMAS TREE ladened with Toys, Ac., for the children. MOTHES SHIPTON, whose true prophecies have startled the world, has been specially sent down to tell the fortunes of all, and it is hoped AUNT SALLY will make her
appearance for the first time on the occasion. Friends will please send in their contributions at once to Mrs. H. Root. Contributions for the REFRESHMENT STALL, —in the shape of fruit of any kind, cakes, tarts, Ac., will be thankfully received by Miss S. Nesbitt and Mrs. Drummond. The Bazaar will be open from 3 to 5, and from 6.30 till 10 p.m. Admission, adults '- - Is. Children under 10 • • 6d. A Vocal and Instrumental pROMENADE CONCERT o In connection with the above, Will take place on NEW YEAR’S DAY IN THE MUSIC HALL. Doors open at 7.30; commence at 8 o’clock.
